SAO- Yuuki Asuna by Rose-Curel SAO- Yuuki Asuna by Rose-Curel
So I got a cheap cosplay off and decided to wear it to the NorCal Gathering this past weekend and it turned out looking amazing from what I've been told. I met so many new people and it was awesome hanging out with the older ones I had made. Reconnecting with others as well. I sure do hope everyone who went had as much fun as I did!

in my opinion the only critique needed here is...well....oh yea you are supposed to make your own costume any idiot can go on the internet and buy one..

Actually, I don't 'have' to make my own cosplay. You can buy it if you don't have any sewing skills. Cosplay isn't about making it yourself, it's about having fun as who you're dressed up as. But that's my own opinion :) Thanks for your input!

Next time think twice before comment. Saying not meant to insult later doesn't cut it.
she's not cosplay to meet your fantasy about a perfectly draw character.
It's about what she want not what you want. Remember that.

however do know that she's sharing it on the internet, where criticism is inevitable. what she want is to improve, and im sure that's also what she wants.

look at it this way, my comment maybe in offensive in nature, but that doesn't mean what i want isn't what she want; improvement.

remember that

you have quite a brain. However human can provide any excuse for any occasion số continue debate over this will be a waste of time.
Just know that i too have a friend who facing the same problem with her everyday and i hate people hurting her feeling just because she isn't what sociaty called beauty. Sure, comment is welcome but the first rule is don't hurt anyone feeling.

You are lovely, thank you for standing up for me :)

I completely agree. Comments can be comments and I have already pointed out to this person that their comment does not bother me but instead makes me try harder on what I do.

I am extremely happy you stood up for me and do hope you continue to for people close to you since no one deserves to be put down by anybody!

couldn't agree more :)
Everybody have their own insecurity about themselves, mostly about how we look cause we live in a society where "beauty" is set by model and media. The funny thing is model is actually the one feel the most insecurity.
Don't let it get to you.
Just lead a healthy and balance life, take care of your body, learn to love yourself and you will shine

They really do. I also have made a video about bullies and people who can't seem to be nice because someone isn't 'skinny' enough or 'pretty' enough for cosplay. It seems to have gotten around quite a lot as well.

You're wonderful! I'm glad I was able to speak to you a little bit c: If your friend or you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm here for you guys
